HOW CAN I START USING BREAK PRO?
You can download BREAK PRO from the App Store for Apple devices or from the Google Play Store for Android devices.
For Windows computers, you can download the app from our website.
You can access https://breakpro.fi/en/download/ to download the app.
You can try the app free of charge for 14 days.
You can start using the app by signing up with your email address, where we will send you an activation code. Please remember to use the same email address for signing in on all your devices.
You can check the email address you have used on the BREAK PRO pages SETTINGS and MODIFY.
You can pay for the app on iOS or Android devices. After payment, you will also gain access to the app for your Windows and macOS computers, on a total of five devices.
Windows and macOS:
A trial started on a computer will not automatically continue as a paid subscription. If you do not wish to continue using the app as a paid subscription, you can simply remove the programme from your device.
Android and iOS:
At the start of the trial, you will need to accept the BREAK PRO subscription charges on your device. However, you will not be charged anything during the 14-day trial.
If you do not wish to continue using BREAK PRO as a paid subscription, you must cancel your subscription during the trial period. Please note that you can only use the 14-day free trial period once.

BREAK PRO subscriptions are renewed for one year at a time. You can cancel the start of the next subscription period at any time. You will have access to the app until the end of the current subscription period. The subscription will be automatically renewed unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
When you cancel your subscription, your access to the app will expire after the end of the current subscription period on all devices.

Please check your spam folder first, as the email may have ended up there.
If necessary, press ”Back” and re-enter your email address.
If necessary, add the address info@breakpro.fi to the list of allowed senders in your inbox folder.
If necessary, you can also request the activation code by SMS by entering your mobile phone number in international format, e.g. +358401234567 (including country code).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO USE BREAK PRO?
The price is EUR 29.99/year including VAT.

HOW TO USE BREAK PRO
Android, iOS, Windows and macOS:
Please first check that you have the correct intervals or times and days of the week selected on the SETTINGS– REMINDER page. If you have selected REMINDERS OFF on the SETTINGS page, reminders are turned off.
Android, iOS and macOS:
The first time you use BREAK PRO, your device will ask you if you wish to allow BREAK PRO to send you notifications. Select ”Allow” and the app will remind you to take exercise breaks. If you wish, you can later change your selection in the Settings and Notification Manager of your device.
If you ignore the reminders for several days and do not start any break exercise during that time, the app will stop sending you reminders until you restart BREAK PRO. The reminders will then be reactivated.
ChromeOS:
Reminders only appear when the app is minimized in the background. Therefore, please don’t close the app but move it to the background by clicking the Minimize button in the upper right corner. If you close the app, reminders will not appear.
Android:
Reminders work if the program is swiped to the background, i.e. the program is closed like apps usually are. If you click on ”Force stop” in the app listing under BREAK PRO, the reminders will not appear.
Windows:
Please always close the app after use by pressing the X button in the upper right corner. BREAK PRO notifications will only work if the app is closed. BREAK PRO will automatically shut down after 12 minutes if not in use.
You might miss the app’s reminders if you have several apps open on your device. The BREAK PRO reminders will be easier to notice if you set the BREAK PRO application window to full screen mode. When a reminder is activated, a notification window will flash at the bottom of the screen and a notification tone will sound once a minute for 5 minutes. The application icon ”B” on the taskbar will also flash. You can open BREAK PRO by clicking on the ”B” icon in the taskbar or any area of the BREAK PRO application.
If you have selected on the SETTINGS page MODIFY – ACTIVITY DURING REMOTE MEETINGS and DISABLE REMINDERS, no reminders will be sent to you during Zoom and Teams meetings.
In some situations, Focus assist may be blocking notifications. Focus assist can be edited under Settings – System – Focus assist. It is recommended to set Focus assist to ”Off” to receive BREAK PRO notifications more reliably.
You can check if the reminders are working by going to the SETTINGS page of BREAK PRO and modifying REMINDER – CUSTOMISE. Set the reminder to two minutes ahead, close BREAK PRO and wait for the reminder. If necessary, please contact us at info@breakpro.fi. Our customer service is available in English and Finnish.
macOS:
Please note the following for macOS devices:
BREAK PRO reminders will work if the app is not closed. Please do not close the app but press the yellow Minimize button and the app will go to the Dock.
The proper functioning of reminders also requires that some other application is active. For this, you can simply click on any area of the Desktop.
Android and iOS:
There is no need to close BREAK PRO, you can leave it open in the background like any other app. When the app is open, the reminders will work and BREAK PRO will start faster. If you wish, you can close BREAK PRO using the standard buttons on your device. These functions vary depending on your device and system.
Windows:
You can close BREAK PRO by clicking the X button in the upper right corner. You should close BREAK PRO after use, otherwise the reminders will not work.
macOS:
BREAK PRO’s reminders work when the app is not closed. Therefore, please do not close the app but move it to the background by clicking the yellow Minimize button in the upper left corner.
The proper functioning of reminders also requires that some other application is active.
The video download speed depends on your network speed and the video quality selected on the SETTINGS – MODIFY page on mobile devices. Depending on the quality and duration of the video, the video size ranges from 5 to 30 MB. Please note that the video will only be downloaded to your device on the first viewing. After that, there will be no download delay and the video will start on your device immediately.
iOS and Android:
There is no sound in BREAK PRO if your device is set to silent mode. You can turn on the sound by exiting silent mode.
You can adjust the volume during video playback when the device is in the horizontal position. You can find the sound icon in the upper right corner.
Please check that your device is not connected to a Bluetooth device (such as headphones).
How to check this on an iPhone/iPad:
1. Turn off Bluetooth.
2. Restart your phone/device.
3. Start BREAK PRO.
4. Start playing a video on BREAK PRO. The audio should now play normally.
Windows:
BREAK PRO remembers the previous location and size of the app window.
The problem may be that the BREAK PRO window is located outside the display area of the screen.
You can fix this by returning the BREAK PRO display window settings to default.
Solution:
At the bottom of the screen’s desktop, behind a small upward pointing arrow, you will find the Notification Area with a small ”B” icon for BREAK PRO.
When you right-click on the ”B” icon, a Menu will open.
From this menu, please left-click on SETTINGS.
This will return the BREAK PRO window settings to default.

BREAK PRO LICENSE AND ACCESS
To update the access rights on your computer, please restart the app from time to time on your mobile device. When restarting, the access rights are updated on your computer as well.
